Denise Valz, 2017-2018 President's Message

The Executive Women of the Palm Beaches Foundation is a dynamic organization dedicated
to empowering women to succeed and lead both personally and professionally for the betterment of business and community.

I am honored to serve as the 36th President of this prestigious organization with an inspiring team of professionals that are dedicated to making a positive impact for women within our community. Executive Women of the Palm Beaches Foundation recently completed an organizational realignment and comprehensive strategic plan that will guide our work and provide added proficiency and focus as we strive to attain our vision of being the voice that inspires integrity, empowerment, collaboration, and leadership.

Expanded opportunities for networking, skill sharing and educational programs are currently calendared that will incorporate advocacy, mentoring and leadership opportunities for executive women in Palm Beach County. This year we will focus our programs on the diversity of industries that exemplify Women in Leadership. Women executives in Government, Science, Finance and Philanthropy, Healthcare and more will share successes and challenges in their careers inspiring others to develop skills to succeed and lead.

Our organization is founded on elevating women in business and the community. Educational opportunities and community service are essential in our efforts as we promote leadership skills to women of all ages. This year past, EWPBF awarded nearly $45,000 in educational scholarships assisting young girls and women in the community. In addition, since 2006 the organization has funded more than $230,000 in grants for local non-profit organizations serving young women ages 11-21. We are committed to elevating our philanthropic endeavors and invite our partners and community to attend our Cynthia Allen Gracey Women in Leadership Awards luncheon in the spring. Proceeds from this event provide the funds for our scholarships and grants.

Everyone experiences a unique leadership journey. I encourage the business women in the community to consider becoming a member of the Executive Women of the Palm Beaches Foundation, Inc.  Share in our journey with the support of powerful leaders and lifelong friends.

Denise W. Valz,

President 2017-2019
